Amy's surgery update

Well I guess it is offical my heart is no longer broken. I had my 1 month checkup/echo on Tuesday and everything looked good. The device is in place and there was no inflamation or other complications. I will continue taking the Plavix and blood thinners and go back again in November for another echo and bubble study (this is where they inject a solution and watch to see how many bubbles pass through and how many make it to your brain. There shouldn't be any now). I am relieved that everything checked out ok and I am grateful to have it taken care of.
